Great Britain Deaf Men’s Football Team has finished their training weekend at Nene Park Academy, Peterborough. The players and staff have travelled to the Nene Park Academy where all Peterborough FC players trained from academy to first team.
The days counting down to Deaflympics 2017 at Samsun, the players and staff are working hard over the weekend, polishing the areas of improvement before reaching the level to gain a Gold Medal for Great Britain Deaf Men’s Football Team.
The GBDF Men’s has competed and defeated Glinton & Northborough FC with a result of 7 – 1. Thanks to the goal scorer with a double for Jamie Clarke, a single each for Daniel Mace, Nick Gregory, Gareth Dolan, Rylan Casey and Oliver Manoochehri. The GBDF Men’s manager, Dean Humphrey, chosen Rylan Casey as his man of the match after a great performance with an assist to Nick Gregory and a goal from a penalty.
